Defend Autonomy is a statewide campaign to defend body autonomy in Arkansas. During the 2023 Legislative Session from January to May, we saw Arkansas Legislators try to legislate our rights to exist, bills that were passed and that desecrate body autonomy. In 2023, we released informative graphics, summaries of relevant bills, and hosted events where folks could find out ways to take direct action in our communities across the state. We aim to keep everyone informed of what is going on in our state so that together, we can make Arkansas a better place for everyone! We also hosted the Second Annual Queertonomy Gathering in September, where folks came together to discuss issues facing Arkansans and to develop creative solutions to impact our communities as a coalition in 2024 and beyond.
